The most common misconceptions about hypnosis
"I cant be hypnotized!"
You already experience mild states of hypnosis or trance throughout your daily life without being aware of it. These can occur during moments of deep focus, daydreaming, or when becoming absorbed in activities such as reading, watching a movie, or driving on autopilot. Such states involve a heightened focus and reduced awareness of the surrounding environment, similar to the experience of hypnosis, but they are typically less intense and more spontaneous.
A hypnotherapy session requires consent and cooperation from the individual being hypnotized. A person must be willing to enter a trance state, trusting the hypnotist and the experience.
"Can you make me do things against my will like give you my car?" "Can you make me tell secrets like my pin code?"
Unfortanently I can`t do any of that. Then I wouldn`t have to work. :) Your unconciouss minds primary focus is to keep you safe and does not let you do anything that compromises on your values, belief or health.
"Can I get stuck in trance?"
Unfortanently not, because you would love to. Being in a deep relaxing trance feels amazing and you would wish it didn`t end. If the connection breaks during a online session and you are in a trance, you will after a couple of minutes come back to now.
